Antonio Forcione, Seckou Keita et Adriano Adewale Itauna viennent de trois continents: l’Europe, l’Amérique du Sud et l’Afrique. Tous des virtuoses à part entière, ils ont grandi dans trois pays différents, parlent trois langues différentes et ont été formés par trois cultures et traditions musicales différentes. AKA Trio a réuni toutes ces différences et le produit est «JOY». Le guitariste-compositeur italien Antonio Forcione parcourt le monde depuis plus de deux décennies, publiant vingt albums et collaborant avec de nombreux artistes majeurs, dont de tels noms. comme Charlie Haden, Trilok Gurtu, Angélique Kidjo et Bulgarian Voices, entre autres. Le Sénégalais Seckou Keita est l’un des principaux joueurs de kora au monde, impliqué dans de nombreux projets internationaux, dont son duo novateur avec la harpiste galloise Catrin Finch, Africa Express avec Damon Albarn et son projet Transparent Water avec le pianiste cubain Omar Sosa. Le percussionniste et compositeur brésilien Adriano Adewale a collaboré avec Bobby McFerrin, Joanna McGregor et Benjamin Taubkin et a composé de la musique pour orchestres et théâtre de danse.

Antonio Forcione, Seckou Keita and Adriano Adewale Itauna come from three different continents - Europe, South America and Africa. Italian guitarist-composer Antonio Forcione has been travelling the world for over two decades, releasing twenty albums and collaborating with many major artists along the way, including such names as Charlie Haden, Trilok Gurtu, Angélique Kidjo and the Bulgarian Voices, amongst many others. Seckou Keita from Senegal is one of the world’s foremost kora players, involved in many international projects including his ground-breaking duo with Welsh harpist Catrin Finch, Africa Express with Damon Albarn and his Transparent Water project with Cuban pianist Omar Sosa. Brazilian percussionist and composer Adriano Adewale has collaborated with Bobby McFerrin, Joanna McGregor and Benjamin Taubkin and has composed music for orchestras and dance theatre.
