Historical, unrehearsed live field recordings of traditional music made in Thailand in 1973 by ethnomusicologist Deben Bhattacharya. Extensive information, including historical backgrounds, notes about each of the pieces and descriptions of the indigenous instruments used, such as the Khawng wong yai (gong circle) plus beautiful colour photographs. A valuable cultural document and a rare collectors’ item.
