Born in the south-east of Turkey, Olcay Bayır is a new generation of singer-songwriter who has refashioned the soul of Anatolian musical tradition along with her own deeply touching dream songs in Turkish and Kurdish with powerful, contemporary arrangements by the founders of London-based music collective Kefaya.
