Orthodox Chants from Russia

Le choeur d'hommes du monastère Optina Pustyn de Saint-Pétersbourg a été créé en 1996. Il est composé de 6 à 9 chanteurs professionnels aux voix impressionnantes. Leur objectif principal est de cultiver l'héritage de l'ancienne polyphonie de l'Église russe dans ses différents styles, tels que: chants Znamenny, bulgares, grecs, byzantins, etc. Cet enregistrement est un exemple impressionnant de chants orthodoxes et montre la beauté de la Russie chants religieux.

The male choir of the Optina Pustyn Monastery in St. Petersburg was established in 1996. It consists of 6–9 professional singers with impressive voices. Their main goal is the cultivation of the heritage of the old Russian Church polyphony in its different styles, such as: Znamenny, Bulgarian, Greek, Byzantine chants, etc. This recording is an impressive example of orthodox chants and shows the beauty of Russia’s religious songs.
